HSI: 24,726 -7, turnover 103b.

Bought 50,000 shares of 7500 at $6.425.  Now holding 100,000 shares.

Slightly deviated from my original plan and a bit risky to build up 7500 at this level.

HSBC is not doing well.  Not because it fell below $32, but breaking this level with very low turnover.  I was waiting for the whole afternoon hoping to buy more if it bounds back to $32 or higher.  But it did not.  Further correction is expected.

A very rough morning.  Market fell sharply.

Sold 100,000 shares of 7500 at $6.57.

Bought 10,000 shares of hsbc at $31.25.

Bought 50,000 shares of 7200 at $7.43.

This afternoon is crucial.  The market may fall more sharply if it does not rebound.

No transaction done in the afternoon.

hsbc did not rebound as expected.  It may fall to a lower level, sigh.

No idea why the market fell so sharply today.  A shares fell, other markets fell, but to a lesser extent.

I still maintain the view that HSI may hit 24,000 or lower in September.  But there should be a rebound of a few hundred points to say near 25,000 before that.  Let us wait and see.

HSI: 24,455 +114, turnover 144b.  Turnover significantly increase after market closed.

Bought additional 10,000 shares of hsbc.  Now holding 54,000 shares.

Purchase order of 7500 at $6.65 unexecuted.  Currently holding none.

Quite a number of stocks are clearly underpriced.  3988 1288 939 1398 are examples.  They cannot be ignored if people want to lift up the market.

All industries are suffered, except stock and property markets.  if you check, you will find that world indexes are at a very high level amid the looming economy.  Governments are forcing investors to participate in a highly dangerous game.  You don't want to join?  OK, tell me where to park your money?

The index fell sharply for the second time after it rose to near 25,000.  It is likely that it will fall further to 23,500.

However, there are two points to note.  The turnover is low, bearing in mind that 24,000 is an important support level.  Second, the market did panic.  Stocks fell in a very coordinated manner.

Why the market fell so significantly?  It doesn't matter.  It provides an opportunity to buy.

Bought 100,000 shares of 7200.

Bought 10,000 shares of hsbc.

It seems they want to kill 23,500 bears.  The market fell from 25,000 above to 24,500, stopped for a while and fell again to 23,600.  I will be surprised if it does not rebound.

hsbc shows strong signal of hitting bottom today.  Same for another UK bank Standard Chartered.

Index has yet to test 23,500.  I think it will, or even 23,300 before it goes up.  As to when, probably the first week of October.
