Atmospheric Science Undergraduate Programs in Canada

Hi, I'm taking IB (2nd year). I'm planning to apply for atmospheric science courses in canada. So there are 4 major universities offering atmospheric science in Canada - UBC, York, Alberta and Waterloo. I should be able to get into the first 3 but not sure about the last one. I googled and found nothing about meteorology/atmospheric science in Canada, only in US. Not really sure which one is best. I guess it's prolly Waterloo/UBC but there are too much computer science/instrumentation/other stuffs not directly related to meteorology involved for both UBC and Waterloo. Alberta"s program seems more related to meteorology. Same for York but its reputation kinda sucks (pretigious in business and law, but meh in other areas, also has high crime rate). So any comments?

I don't know much about Canadian universities, but I suppose you should choose the university you like the most. Computer science is quite related to meteorology - the atmosphere, being a complex and choatic system, requires immense computing power to predict. That's why we have ECMWF and GFS. I think the connections will become more apparent once you know more about atmospheric science, so don't get too wrapped up in the course structure. By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what are your IB predicted grades?
